I was honoured to stand on behalf of the 38,942 Canadians who signed e-Petition 6586.

They value the irreplaceable role faith-based charities have in serving the hungry, homeless, hurting, discouraged, depressed, or lonely.

Our Canadian fabric is stronger and richer because of the vital work of these faith-focused charities.

The Liberal government must abandon any plans to abolish the “advancement of religion” as a recognized charitable purpose in Canada.
