In the House: Voting to give survivors a choice

I was honoured to second our Conservative C-11 amendments to restore judicial choice for victims of military sexual misconduct (MSM).

The Liberals doubled down on their move to shift cases of MSM to the overburdened civilian justice system, effectively removing that choice.

The debate now continues at third reading. Let’s give victims the option to take their perpetrator to civilian court or to address the case within the military.
