Radio minute: Hope wins

February 4, 2026

Last weekend’s Conservative Party convention had impact reaching well beyond the party faithful. It affirmed renewed confidence in what can and will be done to restore Canada after so many have given up hope, been left behind, or disillusioned by unfulfilled promises.

The convention had record-breaking numbers from all regions. Canadians of all ages were energized and engaged.

The 87.4% vote of confidence in Pierre Poilievre affirmed his leadership. Pierre’s speech was focused and hopeful. It reaffirmed our party’s values and spoke clearly to how opportunity, safety, sovereignty, and individual freedoms will be restored under his leadership.

Pierre confirmed that while Conservatives will never back down from our duty as an effective opposition,
we will work collaboratively with the government on the nation-building projects desperately needed –
as we did with Bill C-5, which empowered the Prime Minister to make fast decisions on national projects that require inter-provincial cooperation.

Conservatives love this country and look forward to turning hope into tangible results for all Canadians.
