Radio minute: What has changed for the better?

September 26, 2025

Members of Parliament have returned to Ottawa.

Mark Carney’s cabinet had a whole summer to implement their reforms, free from the scrutiny of Parliament. But what exactly has changed for the better?

Crime and unemployment are up while home building and wages are down.

The Prime Minister’s “Major Projects Office” is an expensive, bureaucratic distraction creating the illusion of progress, announcing 5 pre-existing projects, already under construction or shovel ready. Not one new project or pipeline has been approved.

More than half way through the fiscal year, Mr. Carney has finally announced Nov 4th as budget day and to expect a significantly deeper deficit.

Instead of spending your tax dollars in national projects, we hear you calling for lower taxes, less red tape, and removal of all anti-development laws that penalize private domestic and international investors who we know are ready and able to rebuild and expand our economy.

I’m proud to be part of a Conservative team, united and focused on restoring a Canada where hard work earns a good life with affordable homes, food, and fuel in safe neighborhoods.
