Statement: Approve strychnine for emergency use

Exploding gopher populations and denying farmers the use of strychnine to control them has led to severe damage to cropland and pastures.

Farmers are calling on the Liberals to deliver what they promised – to support the application of strychnine for emergency use. The upcoming growing season depends on it.

Farmers deserve true choice in pest management.
