Veterans Committee: Families also serve.

It is well established that families serve and often suffer alongside their loved ones in uniform. However, current legislation does not acknowledge that fact. Struggling Veterans impact their families which, in turn, further impacts Veterans. It’s a cycle that needs to be broken.

Mental health services should be available to Veteran families in their own right.

Veterans and their loved ones deserve an answer from the Liberal government as to why current barriers to mental health support remain in place.
